Welcome to LionStrom Rabbitry.

We are a small family run rabbitry located in Nanaimo, B.C. on beautiful Vancouver Island. With the help of my 3 young children, I have been breeding lionhead rabbits since the fall of 2007.

When we first discovered the breed in the summer of 07, it was love at first sight. After many hours of research and a growing passion for this rare new breed, we decided to start our own herd. We began with 2 does and a buck from Manely Rabbits in Victoria and 2 bucks and a doe from Ridgewood Rabbitry in Nanoose. Thanks to Wendy and Wally's hard work and dedication to keeping quality lionheads, I'm now on my way to building my own herd of beautiful lionheads with pedigrees I can be proud of.

Our goal is to breed show quality lionheads with beautiful manes, compact bodies and loving personalities. We are working on a variety of colors in our herd, focusing on torts, blue torts, sable points, siamese sables, REWs, blacks and blues with the hope of adding some oranges and smoke pearls in the future. I also have some amazing brokens on occasion.
